  • 4 medium lemons freshly squeezed
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 –3 tablespoons honey optional
  • 1 –2 cups ice cubes optional
  • Fresh mint leaves optional
  • Lemon slices optional

Equipment

  • High-Speed Blender for blending fresh Ginger quickly and smoothly
  • Fine Mesh Strainer for a smoother, pulp-free drink.

Method

  1. Wash the fresh ginger thoroughly, peel it, and slice it into small pieces.
  2. Juice the lemons and set the fresh lemon juice aside.
  3. Add the sliced ginger and cold water to a blender, then blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
  5. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir well until fully combined.
  6. If desired, add honey and stir until dissolved.
  7. For a second variation, keep one bottle plain and add honey to another bottle for a naturally sweeter flavor.
  8. Serve immediately over ice, or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
  10. Store in glass bottles in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Notes

• For a smoother drink, strain the blended mixture twice using a fine mesh strainer.
• Adjust the lemon juice to your taste for a brighter or milder citrus flavor.
• For a naturally sweeter version, add honey after straining and stir until fully dissolved.
• Serve chilled over ice for a refreshing summer drink.
• Store in sealed glass bottles in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Shake well before serving, as natural separation may occur.
• Fresh mint leaves and lemon slices make a simple and beautiful garnish.
