Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup fresh ginger peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice about 3–4 lemons
  • 2 –3 tbsp honey optional
  • 1 cup ice cubes optional
  • 4 lemon slices for garnish
  • 4 fresh mint sprigs optional

Method
 

  1. Peel the fresh ginger and slice it into small pieces for easier blending.
  2. Add the ginger, fresh lemon juice, water, and honey (if using) to a blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for 30–60 seconds until smooth and well combined.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer if you prefer a smoother drink.
  5. Pour into serving glasses filled with ice cubes.
